I am mad because they kept ignoring what the were being told. They chose to ignore that and kept focusing on the Console session. I only can click the "(Console) - Connected" session. I told them EXACTLY what I was doing and even included an image of the selection choices (see second image above) that shows the choice of active user, with the caveat that ".I cannot select the user's session. The "Windows only allows a single user login" response was the ONLY type of response I initially received ("Splashtop and RDP use the same ports, so this would force one user using a RDP/Splashtop to boot the other user off."), and they kept focusing on that point, which is what made me so angry. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Next streamer update will fix these win7 corner cases, targeting end of June (in 2 weeks). Our team will post a response for you at Splashtop support site (your ticket) shortly with a workaround to resolve the corner case win7 issue. Vast majority of tested Win7 works, but seem like a few corner cases/configs of win7 will have switching issue. this might be the cause for the issue here as you tried to switched to terminal session on WIn7. Our team actually found a potential issue that terminal session switching doesn't work for selective Windows 7 machines. As long as you do NOT log into the WindowsĬonsole session, and then switch to the RDP session, then Splashtop & RDP Seem like what you haveĭone in the video is exactly as described. As you try to remote in using Splashtop into the console session, the RDP will disconnect. To verify, connect to a remote computer using RDP (via VPN or protected login as I outlined), then connect to that user's RDP session using Splashtop as in the image below. This is what fails at my client's office to their Win 7 computers. If I choose the second item (with Active in the name), it opens the Splashtop connection and leaves the RDP session running. If I choose Console, the user gets kicked out as expected. If I try to help one of those RDP users via Splashtop, when I log into their RDP session via Splashtop's choice to connect to the active RDP session, it kicks them out of their RDP session, and if they log back in via RDP, it kicks ME out of the Splashtop connection. RDP is NOT open to the Internet in general). I have users on Windows 7 who are accessing their work computers from home via Remote Desktop Connection (don't worry, it's only after they authenticate to their WatchGuard firewall. ![]() They have COMPLETELY MISSED what I am telling them or have given me false information. I have a ticket open with Splashtop support (#111861) but I am getting ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE with them.
